My signature class, Sketch to Finish with Lenin Delsol, is open for registration with three sessions to choose from:
- Class #705: September 22 – October 27, 2021
- Class #706: November 3 – December 15, 2021
- Class #707: January 12 – February 16, 2022
Classes run for six weeks on Wednesdays, from 9 am to 1 pm (CDT) at the Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts in Chicago, Illinois. See my classes page for more details and to register. Please note that you do not need to be a member to take classes at the P&C.
Sketch to Finish with Lenin Delsol focuses on painting a portrait from multiple sittings, which is crucial for artistic growth. Working this way, you will begin to notice subtle details and build rapport with your sitter — empowering you to paint a genuine likeness that reveals your subject’s inner spirit.
You can expect to paint three different portraits of a live model sitting in a two-week continued pose. Each session includes demos and a good deal of one-on-one instruction. You will receive online access to the pose images for working outside of class if you so choose.
Class meets in the Northlight studio on the 3rd floor of the Palette & Chisel located at 1012 N. Dearborn Street in Chicago, Illinois.
